The coins read REPUCLIQUE FRANCAISE 1803. There is high definition bust of Napoleon Bonaparte bust on the coins.
In 1803, France was under the rule of the First Consul, Napoleon Bonaparte, during the Napoleonic Wars.
The French Republic, or Republique française, was established in 1792 and lasted until 1804.
This is a choker type short necklace measures 15 1/2 inch to 16" with the clasp. And it is about 2" high the the dangles.
There are total 53 coins, 54 with the signed box clasp.
The coins are 15mm in diameter. They are link to each other like Haskell book chains structure.
Coins are thin low weight stampings not like heavy real coins. So the choker has substantial weight to it with 54 coins plus beaded dangles.
The pearls are in in excellent condition without any damage on them.
The ruby red large oval gold dangles are about 20mm tall.
