1981 Vintage CHANEL Rose Pink Crystal Chicklet Extra Long Sautoir ~ Statement Necklace

This stunning rose-pink crystal sautoir by Chanel is a rare estate treasure from a private collection. It is preserved in exceptional condition. The crystals are immaculate with no chips or crack. The gold plating shows only minimal, natural patina from time, remaining in notably better condition than most examples of this era.
 
The sautoir measures 63 inches from end to end. It features 12 large rectangular crystal connectors, each set in textured, Byzantine-inspired gold-tone settings and measuring about 1 inch tall. The faceted round crystals are 11 mm in diameter and held in classic bezel settings.
The necklace is signed CHANEL with a round signature tag, as shown in the photos.
 
With its dramatic length and luminous crystals, this sautoir carries a hint of 1920s flapper-girl glamour — the kind of long, swinging necklace that would have danced with every step on a satin dress under art-deco lights, adding effortless elegance and movement.
